Teaching Manners

Yes I experienced quite a bit of this growing up except I grew up in the north and my GMA was from Mississippi and between her and my dad who was from Alabama I guess you could say I was north born but southern raised lol. Boy what I would do to beable to wake up to the smell of my GMA cooking grits and bacon early on Sunday morning and get all dressed up for church with her watching her put on her big fancy church lady hat and sit beside her and eat lil candy's she had in her purse lol some of my fav memories 🥰

I didn’t grow up southern but being Black American has crossover and it’s so comforting that my family with roots in the south/midwest brought culture with them raising me in California ❤️🥰
